Reflexions Hypnotherapy - Changing minds, changing lives
What is hypnotherapy?

Hypnotherapy is a safe, non-addictive and effective form of treatment using hypnosis to bring about desired changes in behaviour, emotions and the way you perceive yourself and others.

In hypnosis you are in a very relaxed state where your conscious mind is switched off and your subconscious is in a state of increased awareness. This is similar to what happens in every day life, for instance when you daydream, become engrossed in a book or film, or drive on autopilot.

In a hypnotic trance you are not asleep or unconscious. You are totally in control of yourself and your thoughts. You can speak, hear, move and return to your normal state whenever you wish.

During the relaxed state your subconscious mind will be open and receptive to the suggestions given to you, but only providing they are suggestions that you want to take effect. These would be discussed and agreed with you before the session commenced. You cannot be hypnotised to do anything that is against your wishes, beliefs or morals.

I will guide you into hypnosis. You simply have to relax and listen, following my instructions a I lead you through various visualisations. After the session although you will feel more relaxed than usual you will be perfectly safe to drive home.
